MHBC were instructed to advise this overseas client group on the strategy for refurbishment of a former HQ building. This involved dialogue with local authorities and agents for the optimum use of the site, which included creating additional lettable space in plant rooms at roof level. The grade A office floors have been designed to maximise natural light and usable floor space. The end product is brightly lit office environment. MHBC undertook a multi-faceted role, including architectural design, project management, contract administration, M&E services design, and cost control for the entire project. Special reporting procedures were set up to allow project reporting and time differences with the client body.
