St Paul’s Girls’ School, London W6
MHBC have been involved on a number of projects at this prestigious West London school. These include providing project management, along with mechanical and electrical services design and coordination, for the refurbishment and restoration of the historic Singing Hall, where Gustav Holst composed “The Planets.” Most recently, we have project managed the reorganization of the drama facility. This involved the creation of a new studio facility and support spaces, as well as the construction of the ‘Garden Building,’ a new senior school centre and teaching block. This new 550-square-metre, high-quality building is purpose-designed to sit within the new landscaped grounds, which also formed part of the project.
Simultaneously, MHBC project managed the construction of a new sports pavilion on the school’s playing fields site, which is remote from the main site. This involved a new pavilion as well as tennis and netball playing surfaces.
